WHAT CAN WE DO FOR YOU?
Treatment of injury
Prompt treatment of soft tissue injuries enables the injury to heal quickly and in the best possible way, allowing you to get back to living your life. The sooner the treatment is started, the quicker the recovery. Soft tissue therapy is also beneficial for those recovering from major surgery.
Treatment for medical conditions
Soft tissue therapy is an effective treatment for reducing chronic and acute physical pain; it can reduce the need for pain medication. In addition, it is helpful for managing a number of conditions, either directly or alongside a personal care plan – e.g. sciatica, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel, insomnia, arthritis, fibromyalgia, bronchitis.
Correction of Posture
Poor posture can lead to all manner of issues – headaches, migraines, back pain, aching knees/shoulders etc. Soft tissue therapy deals with the tight muscles and fascia that cause the postural imbalances. Combined with appropriately targeted exercises, it gets the body back in balance.
Maintenance and injury prevention
Why wait until an injury occurs? Regular maintenance massage keeps the muscles working efficiently and enables the therapist to identify issues before they have the opportunity to develop into injuries, e.g. overuse syndrome.
Pre and post event
If you are training to take part in an event, then soft tissue therapy is a valuable way to get you in peak condition for the start and recover quickly once you’ve finished.
Mobility and Maintenance
As we age, muscles, fascia, bones and joints undergo physiological changes which may affect mobility. Maintenance treatments are really beneficial for those wanting to stay mobile and manage activities of daily life.
WHAT IS SOFT TISSUE THERAPY?
Soft Tissue Therapy is the management, manipulation and rehabilitation of soft tissues of the body including myofascia, muscles, tendons and ligaments. It is applicable not just to sports people but to anybody wishing to guard against, or recover from, a soft tissue injury or surgery.
At Soft Tissue Solutions we use a variety of different techniques tailored to your individual needs and requirements. We focus on finding the cause of the pain, rather than just treating the symptoms.
Soft Tissue Therapy benefits people wanting to
